This is a post for all the people out there who go shopping one day and buy a bunch of stuff and then the next day you find out that the majority of the items you bought just went on sale. Isn't that frusterating! Well here is your solution. I realize that this might not work for everyone, but the majority of people this will help a lot. Take your items back to the store and ask for the sale price. It is as simple as that! They should give you the price and you will have saved yourself some money! I know that it requires an extra trip to the store, but it does save you some money in the long run. So the next time you go shopping and this happens to you, go back to the store and get the better price!
Distressed seems to be the newest fashion of jeans. I challenge that. Why in the world would you buy a pair of ripped up discolored jeans for twice the price of normal good quality jeans that will last you at least a year. Unless you are the queen of England you do not have an unlimited spending budget. If you want a pair of ripped up jeans save some money buy the pair that is normal and is not so darn expensive. Take them home, wear them for a week and... Oh! Would you look at that you have yourself a distressed pair of jeans! And you didn't even pay extra for them! That is how smart people operate. So do yourself a favor and don't pay extra for ripped up jeans. Use the money for something better. Like that new microwave you really need to buy because you can't cook. I'm sure there is something you need more than less than quality jeans. If you are going to wear your pants around your ankles all day why even bother wearing them at all. Men have this thing going that personally I think is slightly disgusting. Your pants are supposed to cover up your butt, so letting them hang below your butt really defeats the whole purpose. So, to all the men out there who do this-- STOP! It is NOT attractive and does NOT impress anyone! If I only get one message across on this blog let it be--Do NOT let your pants hang below your butt!

Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/kandeejohnson?feature=results_main I've always liked Forever 21. It's cute, reasonably priced, and I always walk out feeling satisfied with my purchases...which is why I was so concerned when I went on their website and saw THIS. There are so many things wrong with this shirt I can't even begin to explain. So let's turn this into a lesson, shall we? What NOT to wear. Ever. If you have this shirt, I strongly suggest you burn it. Either that or give it to your grandma. Number One: Okay, PLEASE tell me that isn't leopard print, let alone PURPLE leopard print. In what universe does purple leopard print go with Hawaian flowers...which brings us to topic number two. You could cut out the bottom of this and make a shirt for your dad. What self-respecting teenager would get this for themselves? It's the sort of thing your great aunt Millicent gets you for Christmas and you smile because there's no telling how much longer she'll be around. Hawaian flowers belong in Hawaii. In the JUNGLE. Not on your body... While in some--admittedly rare-- cases, you can mix and match prints, this is not one of those times. Is it just me, or should we send this back to the jungle, where it came from? |
